A little about us…

Our home was built in 1917, and originally served as the parsonage for St. Thomas UCC, and was home to Reverend Frank Ruth and his family.  Rev. Ruth performed a number of weddings and baptisms in the home and yard, and his large family had many events here as well, for this reason the home has a special place in the memories of many residents of the borough.

The home was subsequently sold by the church, fell into some disrepair until it became our home in the fall of 2015.   We have been slowly working on restoring the home to how it might have looked back in 1917.  It is also important to us that the home continues to be a source of fond memories for all who visit.

It is our hope that our home may play a role in the lives of members of the community once again through events such as our annual Christmas Open House, Trick-or-Treat night, Science Camp, Community Brunches, and Movie Nights.
